Oscar Obonyo is a sustainability and impact leader with over a decade of experience shaping ESG strategies, environmental and social impact programmes, climate action, and transformative development initiatives across East and Central Africa. As Managing Director of Terrawise Limited, he leads the firm’s work at the intersection of sustainability, investment, infrastructure and business transformation, helping organisations convert complex environmental and social challenges into commercially viable, resilient and measurable solutions.
His expertise spans ESG and sustainability strategy, impact assessment, environmental and social safeguards, EHS, climate and carbon management, circular economy, community development, agribusiness value chains, infrastructure development and institutional transformation. Oscar has worked across diverse sectors and complex operating environments, advising organisations on strategy, risk management, stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance and the delivery of high-impact programmes.
He is also a registered Environmental Impact Assessment expert and a member of leading professional and sustainability networks. His leadership and contribution to climate and environmental action have earned global recognitions in impact assessment, organizational change, circularity, climate action and environmental conservation.

Steve C. Omari

Steve is a NEMA-registered Lead Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Audit Expert with over 10 years of professional experience in environmental management, regulatory compliance, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Agroecosystems and Environment from the University of Nairobi and has undertaken professional training in Integrated Environmental Impact Assessment and Audit, Fire Safety, First Aid, and EHS Committee Management. Throughout his career, he has been involved in Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Audits for a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects across Kenya, while also providing Environmental Health and Safety support services.
 
He currently A Managing Director at Terrawise Ltd and offering support services as an Environmentalist at the Kulamawe–Modogashe Road Project and has previously worked as a Safety Officer at Kisii–Isebania A1 Road Project and as an Environmental Health and Safety Officer for The Ridge Mixed-Use Development Project by Cytonn Investments. Mr. Omari also worked with Aurecon Group and the Kenya Ports Authority as a Field Assistant on the Ports Waste Management Master Plan, among other notable assignments. Passionate about environmental stewardship, he is committed to promoting sustainable development through practical, compliant, and environmentally responsible solutions that support both economic growth and conservation objectives.
